5 Day Food Challenge

Every day is a good day to reflect on your actions and choices and decide what stays, what goes, and how to improve. January 1st is just another day; it just happens to also be another year. In the spirit of the new year and making resolutions, we’d like to help you in some healthy eating habits in 2016.

This year we decided to add yummy healthy foods into our lives rather than trying to cut out our guilty pleasures. Join us January 4th-8th leading up to the 2016 San Diego Resolution Run on a 5-day rainbow adventure of fun recipes, prizes and health! We’ll give you a few days to create a colorful grocery list after the New Year’s partying – so finish all of your leftovers, but Monday morning it’s back to work and back to health!

Get Involved: First, acknowledge you’re up to the challenge by joining our Facebook “event” HERE. Then, Create and post on the San Diego Resolution Run 5K & 15K page a picture with recipe each day for the corresponding color. Try to incorporate the color of the day into every meal. We’re talking about produce, in case you didn’t get that; no artificial rainbows! We always recommend getting fresh local produce and the best place you can do that is your local farmer’s market.
