Sick of the same salads, soups, or sammies day in and day out? Steer clear of getting overwhelmed by the choices at the supermarket this week and stick with these five superfoods in your meals. Whole Chicken – For all you herbivores out there, you know this meat is delicious. As an added bonus, it’s lean in fat but high in protein helping you stay satiated for hours. Oh, and did I mention iron-rich dark meat? We encourage you to buy from your local farmer to get all the goodness in your mouth with still having all the goodness in your heart of humane treatment of animals.
Red Grapes – So good and good for you. Red grapes contain a compound that can block fat cells from forming. Awww, how sweet of them!
Farro – Grains is a great place to switch it up. Instead of using the same ‘ol oats, breads, and rice that you’re used to, try farro. It’s a whole grain that can help you eat your way to smaller size because it’s filling, has a great chewy texture, and is low fat.
